Well June was an okay month for me, book buying wise: Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain Dear John - Nicolas Sparks And then there were none - Agatha Cristie (this one was only 25 cents at the library so i think it's okay) I'm planning on reading a ton of PG Wodehouse which is hard to find or expensive to buy so i might take a turn at only library reading for a while. Especially since some of you have been so successful at not buying books because of it.

In October, I bought
-The Mischief of the Mistletoe by Lauren Willig -Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne -Tess of d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.
Just yesterday though, I bought Jane and the Damned by Janet Mullany. It's a pseudo-biographical work with a paranormal twist concerning Jane Austen.

Kristie, I love Thomas Hardy.
If you like him, and want to read some of his more obscure books you should get: Two On a Tower A Laodicean Hand of Ethelberta Under the Greenwood Tree The Trumpet-Major A Pair of Blue-Eyes
I've read every T.H. book there is, and those books while not as well known as The Major of Casterbridge, Jude the Obscure and Tess - are very, very good books.

I haven't purchased many books this year (only 2 or 3, I think), in December I got a second-hand edition of The Dud Avocado by Elaine Dundy.
