March:
The Two Towers by J. R. R. Tolkien The Return of the King by J. R. R. Tolkien Amphitruo by Titus Macchius Plautus (re-read for an exam)
I didn't get to do much pleasure reading this month but I read an estimated 1000 pages from various books for another paper, so I guess it's OK.

Yes, I had to read a lot for university and kind of got into the mood. I was also at a reading by Harry Rowohlt, a great (in my opinion the greatest) author and the German translator of eg. Shel Silverstein, Frank McCourt, Ian McEwan, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Flann O'Brien, Dylan Thomas, Kurt Vonnegut and many more. He's also friends with most of the (still living) authors he translates (this guy's my hero, knowing so many great people) so he has a lot of interesting and really funny stories, it was one of the best events I've ever been to. I bought this book of him afterwards and asked him to sign it.
