But more importanaly, the 8 novels (there were others that were'nt direct canon) by L.M. Montogmery are super dooper: in my mind, they are so much more than charming children's lit.. they - being the world and inhabitants of Avonlea and PEI (i'm going there one day i vow!) I spent a week in Cavendish, PEI, last summer, I could give you some tips! We visited Green Gables, Avonlea, and L.M. Montgomery's birthplace and grave. The island is every bit as beautiful as it is described in the Anne series and people travel from all over the world to pay tribute to their favourite character - so you should do it too!

Oh, i'm gonna, believe me! It's my most important life goal. I have an entire journal/scrapbook dedicated to Anne, complete with a big map of PEI, with Cavendish cirled in red! It's all set!

I think it would be nice for him to have a good life. But I also think it would be a little disappointing, just to have him ride off into the sunset.

It's hard to pick just one. I think my two favorite female characters are Anne of Green Gables...she's just so entertaining...and Elizabeth Bennett....who's not a giggly annoying girl like her younger sisters. My two favorite males are Mr. Darcy and Edmond Dantes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I loved Edmond Dantes from Count of Monte Cristo. He definitely knows how to take care of any problem that comes his way. Obviously, because of the whole revenge/vengeance thing. But it was just such a good book because the reader knew the irony of everything. I imagine Dantes as being really sexy but anyways...Dantes is one of my heros. Don't take that s-h-i-t from anyone!
Kristie, I agree. lol.
