Are you making any resolutions this year?
I haven't thought about any yet. I know I need to exercise more, I've been too sedentary lately. So that's my first resolution!

My top resolution for 2012 is the following: being happy! We always think that we need such or such things to be really happy or that we don't have chance... But, I finally realised this year that being happy has more to do with positive-thinking. Most of the time, if you think "I'm happy" and you just enjoy the moment, you feel better and... suprisingly happy! So, it is my top priority for the forthcoming year!! Besides, I want to continue what I have begun, notably doing sport (the more I do, the better I feel) and reading!!

Mine is similar to lost in wonders. To try and be more happy. I often get inside my head to much and worry, and think too much about things. For example I will debate doing something for a really long time and then before I know it the opportunity is gone. To try and live more but not lose myself in the process. I've had an odd year this year, I fell in with people I didnt really want to be friends with and let myself be influenced by them and sadly I learned the hard way they were using me. I guess to try and get my priorities in order and organise my time better. One thing I think I've always taken for granted is my health and seeing a friend in hospital this year really made me get me priorities in order. So I really hope to help out at the children's hospital, they have this program where you can do the radio station for the kids and take requests, basically play dj- I would love to do that. Also to read more. I've hardly read at all this year. And to try and keep up with the news more- as I think its important to be informed. And just in general to try and not be so hard on myself, and try and be happy in the moment and live without regrets and accept some things are in the past and are over with Wow this ended up being a lot longer than I thought it would be But yeah in general to be a happier, healthier me

Well this is the first year that I actually sat down, thought and wrote down my resolutions. And the result was an enormous long list...which I'll probably can't complete in only one year. So decided to just simplify things: 1.- Do not stress over things that in the long run would amount to nothing. (grades on subjects with no importance) 2.- Start cultivating friendships, coz over the years I've lost contact with so many friends...this is the year to do something about it. And 3.- Every Plan I make has to be flexible...I just realized this has to do with everything, school, work, friends.

Happy new year to all of you! Up to this year I haven't been a fan of new year resolutions, because often people just say something, but don't actually try to achieve their goals and give up easily. This year however, I made some resolutions. First of all, I want to do more sports, as I've been extremely neglecting it for the past 6 months. Second, I want to find a job. I finished my studies last fall, but haven't been sure whether I want to keep studying or work, and now I've made up my mind. These are the two resolutions, I absolutely want to realize. I also absolutely agree with what you all said before about being happy, and not being carried away by putting too much thought into some things

I'm sorry to hear that, hope your friend got better. A close friend of mine had a serious health problem 2 years ago and I know it's hard to see a friend sick at hospital. Try and be more happy is a very good resolution! I should do that too, I had some difficult months in the past few years and now I've realized I tend to be pessimistic and stress too much over things.
