I hope you´re going to enjoy The Dud Avocado, can´t wait to hear your thoughts on it! Will definitely let you know what I think, it sounds great! Today I bought Nikki Greenburg's graphic novel adaptation of The Great Gatsby. I've had my eye on it for ages but it was quite expensive and I've only now just cracked and bought it. All the characters in it are sea creatures. Also wanting: Travels with my Aunt by Graham Greene and My Cousin Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. And I want the latest Sookie Stackhouse novel to finally arrive from BD! The wait is killing me!

I bought The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford as a consolation for having to have surgery and for not getting the job I really wanted. It helped a little

The Portable Dorothy Parker I loved The Portable Dorothy Parker. I bought The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford as a consolation for having to have surgery and for not getting the job I really wanted. It helped a little I'm sorry, Hanna. Hope the surgery wasn't anything serious.

It wasn't, I just accidentally stabbed myself with a pair of scissors, and the doctors had to cut it more open to fix it or something like that. Not gross at all Now I just ordered The Aspern Papers and Other Stories by Henry James from the Book Depository, appearantly I need it for my thesis. Great excuse to buy books, though ;D
