...to the people who stopped posting on here? I know we all go through phases where we come here less or stop for awhile but I always wonder what happened to the people who stop posting completely after being a huge part of the forum.

I never really thought about it before. (Probably because I haven't been doing a very good job of posting on a regular basis myself.) I know when I'm missing from the boards, it's because I get caught up in everything else that's going on in my life. I usually glance at the boards, I just don't take the time to reply. Occasionally I even debate about whether I should post again after a long absence. Sometimes I feel like I've missed too much or am more of a nuisance with my sporadic postings.

You are not a nuisance, Paige! I also wonder what happened to some people... I hope they'll come back here some day

You are not a nuisance, Paige! ditto! Yeah, I do wonder sometimes... I'm guessing they haven't had much time to read and so gradually lost interest in the book club. I don't think I could do that, I might skip a day now and then, especially when I'm traveling, but it just feels like I've come to know you guys so well that I would miss all of you if I stayed away for too long

I also sometimes wonder what happened to those who posted daily and then suddenly stopped. I don't post everyday myself and there were times when I didn't have any time and energy to read and post, because I had to work so hard and long. But now that I am studying it is much easier for me and I can't imagine not at least reading through some posts each day.
Maybe these people currently experience the same, because they got new jobs, moved somewhere else and therefore do not have the opportunity to be he any longer.

You are not a nuisance, Paige! ditto! I sometimes wonder about that too. I've had some very busy days (or weeks) myself, when I don't have time to post here everyday, I always start missing you all after a few days. This is such a friendly place!

I wonder about it as well, I think sometimes when I don't have time to read I don't have much to say so I don't post as much. I guess I think sometimes that happens and then they're out of the habit or something. It's a shame with the ones who were here so consistently every day and now nothing.

Maybe they've lost the link? haha.
Yeah I think it makes sense like Dominique said, that when they're not reading, they probably won't be posting. Perhaps they're busy with finals and then just forgot.

I didn't visit the forum for quite some time. I feel that for me it was the embarrassment, because I felt ashamed that I haven't had the time to read any books. ;D
