I was at a bookshop today and I saw the Twitterature book and I thought it was funny. It's a bunch of classic books written in tweets, from the main characters viewpoint. And even though I don't really like twitter and won't sign up any day soon, I thought they were very clever! www.twitterature.us/has anyone seen or read this book?

First I´ve heard of it, but I only found out this year that twitter even exists Can imagine Jane Eyre tweeting (is that the right verb form?): just discovered crazy woman in the attic!

What is the world coming to? Just shows how people want everything faster and simpler nowadays. Very original idea though. I've heard that twitter can be quite addictive. I've yet to jump on the bandwaggon but I have this feeling that it's only a matter of time before I get sucked into it .

If it gets people sufficiently curious so that they might go get the real novel and read it, then I guess Twitterature might not be a bad thing? But personally I'm not really interested, I signed up for Twitter a couple months ago, took a look around and never went back...

I just go on for 5 minutes each day, see what people are up to and log off. It's just not really my thing. I don't need to know what everyone else is doing at every single second of the day.

I don't think I will ever join twitter, I don't think I'd know what to write all thetime. I've been tempted though, especially at college, where everyone is talking about something they talked about on Twitter. But I've been strong so far! . I read The Great Gatsby in tweets and it starts with hime saying that he has a new house and then that he went to visit Daisy who's husband is an asshole (or something like that ).

Okay, I just picked up the book on the bus this afternoon, read though the table of contents, decided to read the twitter-version of On The Road first and had to laugh so hard that everybody stared at me.
