I finished reading "The Shack" and it really wasn't what I was expecting. I think it was good, but I wouldn't really recommend it. Good to know. My aunt gave it to me so I own it, but she's really religious and she said it changed her life. I'm not religious at all, so I might give it away, especially now that you said you wouldn't recommend it.

I spent the last hour finishing off the Time Travelers Wife. I really enjoyed it! Such an interesting story. Some parts I wasn't a fan of and others I absolutely loved. I can't wait to see the movie, see if they stuck to the novel or not.

I'm now reading Emma and I find some parts very very extensive, which can make it exhaustive to read, but I'm still curious about what's going to happen next.

I actually got through a couple more chapters of my book today. I decided to read at least 100 pages a day so I could finish it within a week. I didn't quite get that far today but I was close.

I'm reading "Identical" and I'm now on page 179. The book is written in verse that is the shape of letters or a bottle etc. with big margins so it's really fast to read. Each page tells it's own story, almost like a poem. The topic isn't typical for YA books and that's what makes it really interesting. I'm looking forward to the ending as I've read some reviews and someone said it's supposed to be really surprising...

I'm having a hard time getting into Mrs Dalloway. I don't know why, I usually love these kind of books, but for some reason, I just don't want to read it anymore

Well, I feel pathetic for my lack of reading. I've still gotten farther than I was before, but it's taking me so long even though I like the book I'm reading.

I'm about a third of the way through Once Upon a Time in Beirut by Catherine Tayloe. I'm really enjoying it, but I haven't had much reading time lately and I'm starting to loose momentum with it. But Catherine gives really interesting insights into Lebanon, Israel, Iraq and the Kurish region of Iraq in an easy to read way. There are tons of tidbits of history and she conducts some very interesting interviews with various people.

I'm about a chapter into Tom Sawyer since I just got it about an hour ago. It's pretty good so far.

I'm on the last chapter of A History of the World in 6 Glasses, the one about Coca-Cola. So interesting!

I started reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl for a book club that my close friends and I are doing. Im only a couple of chapters in to it but I am really enjoying it! So interesting, and the references to various literatures is really cool. I cannot wait to see how this book turns out

I finished the first 8 chapters of Special Topics in Calamity Physics for my book club. We'll be discussing it on tuesday. I really like the style of this book and Blue's fathers' opinions on everything is super funny. The only thing that irritated me we're the random missing words on pages 98-99. Is that intentional or a printing error?? Either way, it irked me.
