It sounds very interesting and I love Jane Austen, I'd really like to partecipate too! I think Zelda's idea is good.

I would definitely participate. I have to re-read Sense and Sensibility in a few weeks for school, so if we wanted to do that one next...

Oh and I like Emily's idea of the different discussion questions having different threads. Maybe we could put some people in charge of getting the discussion going for each book? or section? Isn't that what they do in the movie?

We have a lot of questions in the old P&P thread that we could reask the newer members who didn't participate in the original WB board.

This is a great idea and everyone's suggestions sound good to me! I'm usually not good at reading at a certain pace and keeping up with others, but when and if i can do it - count me in for sure!

Zelda and I posted this in the other thread by accident! me: I'm glad everyone likes the idea If people want to volunteer to do bits on specific books that's fine, but if not that's ok too. I will probably just do normal discussion myself, I can't really commit to much more at the moment And I will see what I can do about the new board! I'll volunteer to help with a book for this. I'm picturing the role as someone who would help find good questions to add to the discussion? If so I'm definitely willing, that would be fun. Actually that sounds more manageable Sounds like a good idea. I'd prob be able to do that.

Haha I didn't even realize! Whoops! I have another suggestion....I'm not sure what order we'll read the books, and don't really have much of a preference, but was thinking we could maybe save Pride and Prejudice until last? I think that's the one most of us have read, and most seem willing to re-read, but it would be nice to re-read it after having read all her other novels. (I know there are many here who have already read all/some of her novels, but if I remember correctly there are many who've only read P&P too). Just a suggestion though, I'll be happy no matter which order.

My prof actually changed the schedule so I have to read it for March 4th, but it would still be nice if that could be next so that I don't end up reading it 3 times within a year.
