I finished Northanger Abbey. I loved it but I'm sad that I have no more Jane Austen novels to read. At least no complete ones.

Spain or Shine by Michelle Jellan. Kind of lame, but I liked it.

Breath by Tim Winton. It's one of those books that you read in one or two sittings totally transfixed, while at the same time still not entirely sure you're enjoying it.

I finished The Vicar of Wakefield over the weekend and I loved it, great story and quite funny. I also read Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal".

Daniel Half-Human by David Chotjewitz. Good, but not as profound as I thought it would be.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. I read it as a PDF file on my laptop while in class today. It wasn't bad, I was expecting it to be like that movie version with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci but it was really different, in a good way since that movie wasn't very good!

I recently finished Other Voices, Other Rooms by Truman Capote (I really liked his style of writing!) and Le Sabotage amoureux by Amélie Nothomb. I liked both.

I finished my first non-school book of the year this morning! Yay! A nice, light read--A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning.

I finished How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff. What did you think of this book? I'm just curious because I read it in young adult lit along with a few other people, so I like hearing what others think of it.
