I say go for it. I'm your age and I went to college when I was 18 with everyone else. But sometimes I think I should have waited. You will get a lot more out of it then an 18-yr-old would. You could always go part-time and then you would probably be with more people your age. Also, I'm not sure where you live, but I know there are some universities that cater to older students. I have a friend who just turned 26 who is just going back to school to get her bachelor's degree.
I think you are never too old to go to school. You might have a different social experience, but if you're there for the education, then it shouldn't matter.

I'd also say go for it! I never took a break from school so I went to uni when I was 19 and I was the youngest one in many of my classes. There were a lot of people who were in their late 20s-early 30s either because they'd taken a break from school to work or travel, or because they were getting a second degree. As Michelle said, there's no such thing as being too old to go to school!!

I'd say go for it too! I agree with Isa and Michelle, you're never too old to go to school I'm 24 (25 in a month), I study at university and I will be finished in 3 years, at best. I went to uni at 19, I've slowed down at the third year because of work and some problems (health, family). I think it's great that you have so much interest to go back to university! I know many students who totally lack any interests.

I think you should definately go for it if it's what you want to do. It's actually really common to go to university a bit later, there are tons of people in my degree that started in their late 20's, 30's, 40's and even 50's! Now that it's so expensive to get an university education many people start later. You aren't too old at all!

Go for it! I am 27 - I will be 28 in May - and I am in college. I have a degree that I rushed through right out of high school and never could find a full time job. I have a part time teaching job, but to be full time, I would need a different degree.
Anyway, it is a little different to be a non traditional student but it gives you so much more perspective on things. I am married and have a three year old daughter and me and my husband are both in school. He's 29. He will be 30 in February.
If you have any questions or want to talk about it more, let me know.

Definitely! I took a year off after school and worked a bit to sort out what I really wanted to study, it gives you more perspective. I also think you get alot more out of it now because you´re really there for the sake of learning and not because that´s just what comes next.
