I sadly don't remember what my new year's resolution was. So it probably isn't going to good.

- I'll read for wordtests. It's pretty hard to study languages if I'm too lazy to memorize words. - I have been the miss negative this year so next year I will have more positive thoughts. - I will read more books. I didn't get even close to my goal this year, but next year I will. I think I have succeed with the first and the third. I have forgotten my goal already, but I have read more books than last year.

Not doing so good on my first resolution since I've sort of taken a break from Spanish, but I'm doing better on the second one (buying less books).

- I'm going to try to eat as vegetarian as possible. I'm still not quite to the point where I'm ready to say no meat ever again. But I've stuck with the no beef, pork, any other mammal thing for awhile and I like it.
- Join a gym or find a dance studio that I like so that I will exercise more than once a week.
- Read more classics. I used to read them a lot so I'd like to get back to that.
- Find some local organizations to get involved with. I'd like to be part of the community again. And I'm pretty sure I have to do this for my job now.
- Brush up on my Spanish.
- Take piano lessons now that I have a piano again.
I think these are broad enough that I can stick to them. I'm proud of all of the changes I made in my life this year anyway so I'll be happy just to not backslide. Well... - I had chicken for dinner, so... (actually I am eating less meat overall)
- I joined a gym and go at least twice a week. On top of that I generally make it to one ballet class and one tap class each week.
- I think War and Peace covers this one.
- I'm now a director for the local young lawyers group. But that's about it.
- I have def. not brushed up on my Spanish.
- I haven't taken piano lessons either but I have printed some sheet music and occasionally give myself a lesson (I actually played earlier today for the first time in awhile).
So I think I'm doing pretty well actually.

It seems my resolutions are the same every year... Be more organized, read more books and exercise regularly... All right, I have already read 20 books this year which is the number of books I read last year so I'm doing very well in that one. I've also been running regularly, 5-6 times a week, which is pretty awesome. I knew the hardest one would be the more organized one... I can't really say I've succeeded there so I guess I need to work on that, but all in all I'm prety happy with the progress I've made this year... Great job everyone on working towards your goals!

My resolutions aren't here in this topic but my goals for this year are: Graduate from highschool (which I did ) Lose weight Exercise more and regularly Read more Be more open Well I do read more and exercise a lot more (but not quite regularly), but the losing weight is a bit tricky. It's not I'm overweight or anything, I just wanted to lose a couple of pounds. But even if I eat healthy and exercise for weeks I still don't see the difference. And I can't abandon chocolate for too long. Well I should just eat healthy and exercise and then it's okay. I'm still rather reserved and it's really hard to change that.

If you're eating well and exercising and not losing weight, then it's probably because you're fine just the way your are The most important thing is to stay healthy!

I've been eating pretty well (I won't say I'm perfect) and exercising like crazy for the last 8 months or so trying to shed the 10 pounds I put on the previous year. But now I've accepted the fact that my new weight is 10 pounds heavier than it has been (I mean, I'm not 17 anymore) and I'm learning to be comfortable with it.

Yeah, I think it's normal for both men and women to put on a few pounds in their mid-20s to mid-30s. Your metabolism is changing and pretty much everyone I know has gone through that phase. Again, as long as you're healthy...

One of my goals was to lose a little weight, too. I lost 7 pounds. That's enough for me LOL.

Again, as long as you're healthy... Yeah, that's why those 10 pounds are called "vanity pounds"... Your body is healthy and doesn't want to lose any more weight, so I think we should just accept that *sob* we are getting older...
