we started off on the bell jar. Perfume will be the second book club book. I haven't started reading Perfume yet either so don't worry. There's another thread called bookclub that asks about how it works and i think they decided in their because every chapter is about 4 pages we would discuss approx 5 chapters a week. However, bookclub is pretty relaxed so dont stress about it too much

So i've been hearing a lot about "The Historian" lately. So After "The Perfume" I would suggest maybe reading this book if others are interested. I have the book on my shelf...just waiting to be read. lol

Something about vampires...my aunt told me she really enjoyed it, and she's picky. So now i'm really interested.

It's about Dracula, yes. I love this book. It's sorta a vampire hunt I guess you could say. Vlad Dracula is supposedly still alive (in the 20th century). There are 3 parts and three different people hunting for him at different times (one successes the other). I can't remember lots of details except what happens at the end, which I obviously won't tell you. It's great though!

Read them both already but I´d read them again. How about rescuing patty hearst? Or we could read a classic and a contemporary like we did on the wb boards.

So I was just wondering what kind of book i'd like to read for the next bookclub choice: So here are 5 options that i'd like. Depending on what others think.
1- Time Traveler's Wife, Audry Niffenegger 2- Running With Scissors, Augusten Bourroughs 3- Gossip Girl, Von Ziegesar 4- Madame Bovary, Flaubert 5- Tambourines To Glory, Langston Hughes

Time Traveler's Wife is a really good book, but I don't know if it would be too confusing to read and talk about. I was confused throughout the first half, but it was a good confusion and I really liked it. I have Madame Bovary on my TBR list so I'm fine with that one[/font]
