My mom turns fifty in two years but she definately does not look it. You would pretty much think that my mom is like in her middle thirties.
I can't believe Luke is 50 though. He's definately pretty good looking for fifty.
And yes, I have a huge crush on Luke

Happy Birthday Alexis!
I wish I was friends with Alexis.

I actually don't know much about Alexis, but I do wish I were friends with Rory... if only so I could borrow books from her. Man, I neeeeed a friend to talk books with. At the moment it's basically like this: I talk, friends listen politely, followed swiftly by "hey crappy weather we're having, huh?" Nobody I know has even heard of Eudora Welty... *sigh*I so need a Rory.

Yes, totally! I'm in AP English and I think I'm the only person in the class who has read a book outside of school...or for school. On our syllabus, it says we have to read Wuthering Heights. They've never heard of that!

Omigosh, I so know what you mean. I was studying at Borders with some friends and I went off to the literature section and came back with like Faulkner and Orwell, and they were like.... What is that? And they were all like getting those It Girl and Clique books.
I love my American Lit class this year, I've read all the books already, like The Tempest, Huck Finn, and The Scarlet Letter

LOL i actually wrote something along like what you're all talking about in my scholarship application for university "The greatest asset I feel I have is that I have always known who I am. When I was little, I chose to be Sporty Spice while my friends fought over Baby Spice because I thought that she was the one who embodied “girl power”. From the tender years of kindergarten, reading has been one of the greatest passions I’ve ever had, whilst some of my friends have very proudly stated “I only read study guides for English”. Being different was the nicest thing that anyone has ever said to me - I guess with an obscure name like _____, it was hard not to be different."

Yeah Jobean that was really good. I know what you guys mean, my friend and I read some of the same books, but everyone else in my class is reading something like Clique or It Girl while I am reading Pride and Prejudice! But I am pretty lucky because my bff likes the same books as me!

Jobean, that sounds great! When I did my final project about Jane Austen and talk about it, everyone was: "Who?" My friends say sometimes: "stop talking about Gilmore girls!" I think it's great to have my own world which won't include my friends. Gilmore girls and books are my own world.
