Here's a question: Lane reads, right? I'm reading Coffee at Luke's and it writes that Rory and Lane bond over music, but the author can't picture Lane discussing Tolstoy or Kafka... I always thought she could... what do you think?

Hmmm... now that I think of it, I don't think Lane was ever presented as reading a book (unless it was related to rock music) or discussing literature with Rory. Of course, growing up in the Kim household, there are not many books she could have had access to that her mom would have approved of, and there was only so much stuff she could hide beneath the floor boards! So maybe she wasn't a great reader...

I never really thought about Lane as a reader. I agree with Isa. She probably wasn't allowed anything so she never got the chance to. It would have been cool if she was a really good reader though.

It is just a bunch of people who has written essays about topics concerning the Gilmore Girls, but I thought it was interesting and fun. I didn't agree with everything, but it was nice. And in the end of the book there is like an extended guide to Gilmoreisms, which was cool.

Oh wow that is cool. I might read that sometime then. It seems pretty interesting. And I love the guides to Gilmoreisms too.

Does Lorelai wear contacts? Because I remember she said her contacts were in backwards but when she is hanging out with Rachel, Rachel asked if she wore contacts and she said no. Just wondering!

A lot of shows have little errors like that (they think we won't notice!). Like in the beginning of Gossip Girl, it seems like Chuck's mom is alive, but later we find out she died giving birth to him.

I'm not sure about this one, but I think Rachel meant eye-color contacts, because she gave a compliment about Lorelai's eyes.

I thought that might have been what she meant. But it's still weird.

So, rewatching season 2, it bugs me that Luke isn't in Sookie's wedding. Don't you think it's weird? I mean, all the town is there, why isn't he going? Hopefully he was invited and just felt too cool to go...

I always thought that Luke wasn't there, because of the Lorelai and Christopher relationship. I mean the writers just didn't want to make things more complicated, than they already were. And maybe he was there, but he didn't get caught on tape?.
