Thanks for the replies and suggestions! I am glad I'm not the only one who goes through this I decided to put Middlesex down for awhile. Maybe I will regain interest in it at some other point in time. Thanks again!

It sometimes happens to me too. For example when I buy a book (in that time I'm still exciting about reading it), but I'm reading something else.. and then, when I finish the book that I was reading.. I realized that I lost the interest. And it's sometimes really frustrating to me . But to me it happens when I have a lot of things to do in school too. You know, I'm tired in that time and I haven't mood for anything. But it disappiers in a couple of days, maybe weeks.

Funny that you had this problem with Middlesezx. I think I read that book over about 2 years! At the moment I am doing well with persevering with particular books and that is because I am being more disciplined abut staying away from bookshops and the library until I have read everything already sitting around at home. This is giving me a goal to work towards and I am less spoiled for choice.

I am in a rut as well...Constantly switching between Dress Your Family in Denim and Cordoroys and re-reading Wuthering Heights. I love that book! Any suggestions that are similar to Wuthering Heights??

I think there are some similarities between Wuthering Heights and Rebecca (by Daphne duMaurier), have you read it?
