I'd like to recommend "L'auberge espagnole." Audrey Tautou is in it, but she actually doesn't have a huge role. It's an awesome movie, and then if you like it there's a sequel too.
The description (from IMDB) says, "A straight laced French student moves into an apartment in Barcelona with a cast of six other characters from all over Europe. Together, they speak the international language of love and friendship."
Audrey Tautou plays the French student's girlfriend, as they try to make a long distance relationship work.
Here's my list of personal favorites, that I consider classic must see movies: Breakfast at Tiffany's, How to Steal a Million, My Fair Lady, How to Marry a Millionaire, The Sound of Music, Roman Holiday, The Sure Thing, Say Anything, Better off Dead, Edward Scissorhands, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Home Alone, Back to the Future (1, 2, and 3).
I love many more, but those are the ones that come to mind first.

I'd like to know some good French ones actually, I saw one last year sometime about someone stalking this family and sending them photographs which I really enjoyed (again I can't remember it's name lol). Thenephilim is right, Paris je t´aime is great. I also like Delicatessen (not Danish) which is kind of twisted but funny, Angel- A, Mathilde and Lemming which is a fantastic thriller.

Thanks for all the recommendations! Another thing I'm really interested in is foreign films, can anyone recommend any? Apart from like Amelie, Life is Beautiful, Pan's Labyrinth and that Swedish one last year about the composer that was so popular (can't remember its name). I'd like to know some good French ones actually, I saw one last year sometime about someone stalking this family and sending them photographs which I really enjoyed (again I can't remember it's name lol). A bit OT but has anyone heard about the sequel to Donnie Darko being made? I'm excited! I'd also like to see Southland Tales, the director's latest movie but I haven't read very good reviews/ I think your refering to Once. Ok about Southland Tales, after seen Donnie darko I was with huge expectations for this one and unlike many reviews it was not that hard to get, theres a couple of subplots maybe to much for my taste , the whole traveling to the past and future is done again and the consequences of it too. I think the problem was the charaters beign rush in to story after story, that made them not that appealing or easy to relate, and the few that I like had little time on the screen yeah im talking about SMG who was great on the movie as krista kapowski. Overall it was an interesting different movie with such a bizarre world with unic and different characteres, it was definitely not a waist of time like so many of my friends said but anyway the movie its not for everybody. If you have a chance to see it let me know if you like it or not. I looked up Once, that's not it. I wish I could remember what it was called it was such a good movie. The main guy in it was a famous composer who movies to a town in the middle of nowhere and teaches the village choir. I will definately check out Southland Tales and let you know what I think

Personally, I'm a huge fan of classic movies, especially those made during the so-called "Golden Era" of MGM studios.
One movie that hasn't been recommended by anyone yet, but which I think is worthy of recommendation is The Wizard of Oz.

To add to the list, here are a few of my other recommendations: Mary Poppins, Grease, Doctor Zhivago, It's a Wonderful Life, and The Philadelphia Story; I've tried to recommend movies that haven't been recommended by anyone yet.
