All you really need to live is food and books. I just thought we needed something here on food, since we have a thread for everything else! What are your favorite snacks? Do you have any wierd snacking combinations? What is your favorite thing to cook? What is the best restaurant in your area? My secret to stay skinny is to eat dessert Hey, it is working for me! I LOVE sun dried tomato and basil wheat thins, especially with string cheese. The fun thing is that those yummy wheat thins are not bad for you!! My new snacking obsession is string cheese. You can never go wrong with e strawberry nutri-grain bar either. I think the best restaurant in my city is a place called Gullifty's. They have AMAZING desserts. Their cheesecake is the second best I have tasted. They have normal food too, but we usually just go there for dessert!

Oooh I'm sooo hungry right now! haha.
I LOVE Mac and Cheese. My mom buys me Easy Mac for when I get home from work. On the topic of Sundried Tomato and Basil... Target has these chips that only they carry in this flavor and they are absolutely amazing. I forget what the brand is, something Farms and the chips come in a ton of flavors including original.
I don't know about restuarants... there's this diner a few streets over called Steve's that pretty much serves everything and all of it is good. Especially the Chile Cheese Fries. But I really like that Cafe chain Corner Bakery. Their warm sandwiches are worth the drive.

My favorite restaurant here is Grimaldi's pizza. It's amazing Italian Style brick oven pizza, and it's incredible.

We have a restaurant here called Il Vicino that also has wonderful brick oven pizza, it tastes exactly like the pizza I had in Italy. I also like a restaurant called Abe's that has delicious Greek food

Ann Arbor is full of great Pizza - Pizza House, NYPD, Cottage Inn...man, I'm getting hungry. It also has every kind of ethnic food you could imagine - we like to joke that eating is the only thing you can do here.
I got Chinese tonight and as much as I hate it's name (Food Zone), I would have to say that my small town (I don't actually live in Ann Arbor) has very good Chinese food.

I got Chinese tonight and as much as I hate it's name (Food Zone), I would have to say that my small town (I don't actually live in Ann Arbor) has very good Chinese food. Cottage Inn is so good! It's my second favorite pizza place. You can't really compare it to Italian style pizza though, since it's so different. But Cottage Inn is wonderful; I love the butter parmesan crust flavor! The location in Kalamazoo isn't very close to my house, I probably pass 10 other pizza places on the way there, but I always go there anyway. In general I think that food around major college towns is incredible. I miss so many of my favorite restaurants around MSU. College town food has to be fast, cheap, and absolutely delicious to make it, and the places that have made it are incredible.

When I go out, I usually just pick up a sweet onion chicken teriyaki from Subway and a passion mango from Boost. I don't like going to the fast food pizza places like Domino's or Pizza Hut because after I tasted actual perfect Italian pizza, fast food pizza never tasted so disgusting. I also really like eating eggs, but I should stop eating so much of them because I'm scared of the cholesterol thing.

Hm.. I hate onions and leak (sp?) but I'm a huge fan of fast food.. yum yum.. and I am hungry.. but I just have a chickenthingy sandwich with me.. I like this thing you can buy and just put in the oven with fish and cheese and brocolli.. thats really nice I don't cook myself, because I still live at home, and my mom is our 'chef'. I don't think anyone minds though, because I can only heat thing sup and make spaghetti.. or lasagna.. my potatoes aren't boiled long enough.. same with every other vegetable actually.. I don't have the patience to wait till they are completely right.. and my rixce is so soft you don't have to chew.. I'm not sure about restaurants though.. I just go wherever other people say we're going..

There aren't really any amazing restaurants in Emporia, and there definitely aren't any in my hometown of 500 people! Emporia does have a pretty good pizza place, I guess. It's called Wheatstate Pizza. I'm usually not a big fan of wheat products, but I LOVE their wheat crust!!! So, so good!

My true love in life is fast food. And food that comes in a bag. lol. I adore McDonald's Quarter Pounder, I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day and I would never get tired of it . I also like Chinese food, egg rolls... Chicken Chop Suey... Spring rolls... Ok, I'm getting hungry... Then I like anything Italian, if you give me a plate of spaghetti I'm content for the day . As for stuff that comes in a bag goes, I love cheetos, doritos, anything with cheese... I don't really like dessert if it doesn't have chocolate. There are some cookies here that are plain and simple biscuits covered in chocolate... They're my doom... The other day I ate an entire package in like 5 minutes... And I also love twinkies... and well, to sum things up, junk food ;D

My favorite food is anything with cheese! I could eat cheese for appetizer (maybe like a cheese platter), cheese with dinner (salmon and goat cheese, yum!) and cheese for dessert (well a cheesecake...!) I also like soups and eat them a lot. I really like eggs, like jobean. I could eat an omelette or scrambled eggs every day! As a snack I usually eat a granola bar or fresh fruit (mostly apples) or yoghurt. I'm a pretty good cook. Right now I'm into Indian food and have been trying out a few really good recipies.

We have tons of pizza places here. In a one mile radius of my house, there are 4! The two best are Vincent's and Italian Oven. Vincents is terribly greasy. You have to trained to eat that, and I was. My mom ate it a lot Italian Oven is a brick oven place. We used to have one close by, but the only one left is an hour away and there's another in Georgia. In one shopping center we have three Chinese places! But we have no coffee shops in the whole town...how interesting. I'm still a teenager, but I like to cook. Every couple of weeks I'll try out a recipe. I don't like putting things in or out of the oven though!

I'm addicted to cheese, so anything with cheese on it, I'll eat it. Also anything carb. I think I might be allergic to fruit and vegetables.

Oh I forgot! I luvvvvv kebabs. Not the ones you get on sticks (although those are pretty good too), but the ones you get at Lebanese food shops. They're soooo incredibly good.
