One of my friends loves House. I told her Hugh Laurie was English and she didn't believe me! He's so good at sounding American. We were watching Sense and Sensibility the other night, and my husband kept telling me that that wasn't House. And I was telling him yes it is! And he said no it's not, he's American. He will argue with me about anyting. My favorite shows also tend to get cancelled. Firefly is my favorite show of all time, Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, The Office (both versions), Scrubs, 30 Rock, Heroes

I love Blackadder Lol that's funny Jessica Lee, I've always wanted to see Firefly but it doesn't air here so I would have to buy the box set.

I've only seen a few episodes of Veronica Mars because it was aired really erratically and in a late time slot here, AND they still haven't released any of the dvds because of some kind of dispute with music rights which is annoying because I'd like to buy a series of it but I would have to buy the R1 version and I don't know if I have a multiregion dvd player.

ooo...Firefly is totally worth buying. I bought it for my husband for his birthday last year, and I watch it more than he does now. We had never seen an episode, but we had seen serenity. It's a super great show. I'm actually watching it right now...

A channel over here is showing re-runs of canceled shows and the other day I watched Joan of Arcadia. I loved that show!!!! I remember I was so upset when they canceled it and I never got to know who the mysterious man was!! (I personally thought it was the Devil, but I don't really remember why nowadays, so I can't support my hypothesis, lol) I never really cared for Joan's brother, nor for Grace either, but well.... I loved the plot, and I wish there were more shows that were so brilliantly acted as this one. Oh, and the hunk that played God on the pilot was a definite plus!

That's a phrase you don't expect to hear. Lol, yeah, I'm full of unexpected phrases, lol. This one goes on the book
Glad to see someone agrees with me on the whole Mysterious Guy - Devil theory, carma! I tried to look for episodes of the show in TVlinks, but I couldn't find anything... So I guess I'll have to stick to these re-runs on Saturdays and Sundays...

brothers.. They showed joan of arcadia on sunday nights, and then they suddenly stopped, and I assume thats where it all ended... I just read the recap, and it is, if I remember correctly. God told Joan she was about to b tested, so than it makes sense (to me) that the devil would be involved.. maybe..

Yeah, now I remember!! God told her that the last two years had just been practice for there was something bigger to come. And didn't the mysterious guy also talk to God? I had also made some strange connection regarding that and the fact that people think that the Devil was an angel that rebelled against God... Wow, pretty heavy stuff, haha
