I just saw the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice and I have to say I liked the new one better, but this one was still good!

I saw Billy Elliot, really cut, but my brother kept saying: what a stupid movie, why are you watching it, and then I kept sighing really loud.. so I wasn't able to watch it properly.. and then my mother sat down and said the same things as my brother...

I agree 100% about both The Holiday and Music and Lyrics; although i HATED that The Holiday seemed comprised more of the 'Hollywood, mainstream friendly' Diaz and Law duo than scenes with Winslet and Black, who i preferred greatly (i'm a huge Kate fan so i'm biased!) I just have to say - and many may hate me for this - that i felt that Charlie and The Chocolate Factory was a relatively weak film and IMO couldn't hold a candle to Willy Wonker and the Chocolate Factory. There just wasn't the same element of utterly disturbing, warped darkness and to be honest i loved some of the original films musical numbers (SOME of them) and the child actors this time around (apart from Anna SophiaRobb, i grant you) just paled in comparisson to the kids from the 70's version (yes, even little Freddie - he's been resting on his laurels since Finding Neverland, i think) And as much as i love Johnny Depp in general, and i feel he always works hard on any role he's given, he just wasn't Wonka to me. DON'T SHOOT ME, PLEASE!

I saw The Holiday and I preferred scenes with Winslet and Black as well. (I just can't help to think of School of Rock everytime I see Black ;D ) I'm sure no one will shoot you, neh I pretty liked Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and I think that's mostly BECAUSE I love Johnny Depp in general but I have to admit I did expect something better from that movie. I liked Christopher Lee as Willy Wonka's father. And I re-watched Elizabethtown yesterday.

I saw Becoming Jane yesterday. It was okay, but there was some fabrication...Still don't really know if I would've chosen Anne Hathaway as Jane, but she didn't do too bad.

I would like to see Becoming Jane, but I have to say I'm one of those who think that Anne Hathaway is just to pretty to play Jane... (no insult towards the beloved miss Austen intended )

Yeah, I kept thinking that while watching it. The looks of the characters weren't what I imagined really

I saw love song for bobby long yesterday, I did miss the entire first hour because my dad was watching this extremely boring show where people show their old stuff to people that know things about old things and then they talk about it.. and worst of all is the woman that presets it, she thinks she's really funny and that the show is all about her.. anyway, the movie was pretty good
