You all are so talented!! I especially LOVE the photo of the man in the Andes, Hanna. You captured him so beautifully. "Italian Lane" Venice, Italy Thanks, Italianlane :DI'm glad you liked it. From your photos it looks like you're pretty talented yourself, very beautiful pictures, and the last one is so cool it could have been a poster!

I loved venice. It's so beautiful. I like the last picture of the clothes hanging out to dry! Thanks Lindsay! I laughed when I saw the scene because my husband said "if you hung your laundry out, that's how you'd do it - in color order and by item of clothing!" :L

I feel homesick every time I look at our photos. We were only there for 18 days, but I just miss it so much and cannot wait to go back there...it can't come soon enough. I think I left my heart there....

Thanks! I'm thinking of entering it into an art contest. I need to submit it by Wednesday. Not sure though - I don't like rejection. It's a juried exhibition that will consist of works nationwide but will be displayed here in our town. Since I sold a few last year, I will have to enter as a "Professional" instead of an "Amateur"... So that's why I may not do it. Still not sure. I have another day to debate it.

I could spit! I TOTALLY TOTALLY forgot to do it! I had the paperwork on the desk, and I didn't even go into the office today. Ugh. I'm so mad at myself. I didn't even think about it today. There's no entering tomorrow. Jonathan and I had gone into the Art Museum on Sunday and she said they were closed until today and that even though the deadline had passed, she'd let me enter if I'd like, if I could bring it in today. AAHHHH!! AND I can't enter the photo next year, because it would not have been taken within 2 years of the contest. Guess that means I MUST go back to Italy within the year. I sit here in disgust.
