I hate wine...and I've never tried anything else. I had champagne when Daniel and I got engaged and didn't like that either lol. My bachelorette party is going to be interesting considering I've never drank before. I love champagne. I wish it was an appropriate everyday drink. I wish I could get into wine, but I don't know that much about it. I'm supposedly going on a wine country trip with some friends in California this summer, so hopefully I can learn something. I'm more of a beer drinker normally.

Oooh, California makes some very good wine, that should be a really fun trip!

It's like that in my family too. Move us a century back and we'd be the temperance movement!

a bottle of wine is one of my guilty pleasures Hey Dom, I'm just curious: how much do you have to pay for a bottle of wine in Australia? The cheap ones I buy range from about $6.00 to $20, you can get decent wine pretty cheap. Of course there a lot of other more expensive upmarket wines. How much is it there?

A cheap but drinkable bottle would be between $10-14, and a good bottle is usually between $20-30. We don't produce much wine in Canada, but I do like Canadian wine when I can get my hands on it. It's usually fairly sweet, a bit like German wine (I guess it's because of our climate?).

My dad's side are drinkers/partiers. My mom's side wouldn't touch anything but the communal wine. Mom sometimes drinks a beer if it's been a long day at work. I have never really drank, never enough to have any effect on me. And never when I wasn't allowed. It's not that I'm a prude, but I just don't see the need. I do like champagne and some wines (not the dry ones though bleh!) Nick's family, on both sides, are non-drinkers. Our wedding shall be interesting, because we're definitely having an open bar (we decided that and aren't even engaged yet). It'll be a party time because all of our friends are drinkers...our parents/families are just out of the loop I guess.

I think you don't need alcohol to have fun or to have a really good party. I just drink certain drinks for pure enjoyment and because I really like them, but I don't want to be drunk anymore. If you've got a natural relation to alcohol you don't have to drink at parties for it to be a good one. If you can't see that now, wait for your first real hangover then you'll think again. And now alcohol isn't a must for me personally. I appreciate the juice ;D

I don't drink to get drunk either, I just drink because I really enjoy the taste of it and it's a fun social thing to do - same as going out for a cup of coffee with friends. It's something I grew up with - no one in my family has a problem with alcohol (I've never seen my parents drunk or anything) but we all drink because we enjoy it. Must be something in my French/Irish genes!

Yeah, my family is like that. I just never found anything I liked, or had t he opportunity. I see nothing wrong with alcohol, as long as it is in moderation.

I fully believe in the "in moderation" form of drinking. Can't say I felt the same way in high school or college, but now that I'm all mature - haha. I just like to have a beer or too with some friends or maybe a drink with dinner. And yes, squishy, I can still remember that one bad hangover and it serves as a reminder for me now. Kristie - I had an open bar at my wedding (I'm Irish-Catholic, so I think it was a given). It was def. worth it money-wise. I believe that Ben and I were the only sober people there. But it made for some funny stories the next day.

Haha, I bet. I just wikipedia-ed my birthday (August 27th) because I'm that bored and apparently beer was invented on my birthday in 982 BC in Bavaria. Learn something new everyday...

I like to eat frosting/icing out of the tub. Not put on anything, just like to eat it. The cream cheese or vanilla stuff, not the chocolate.

Lol I have so many guilty pleasures.
- I watch a lot of stupid TV like America's Next Top Model, The Weekenders (it's a stupid kids show, but I LOVE IT!), Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, stupid game shows like Deal or no Deal (even though it irritates me to no end, I still watch it. lol), Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader? -Food: Milkshakes, cookies, ice cream, chocolate bars, coke, etc... - I don't have too many music related guilty pleasures except for maybe the Hairspray soundtrack. lol. -Facebooking too much.
Go ahead, judge me. lol..
