Yeah, the movie came out around christmas last year. It was a good movie but the book, naturally, is much better. I have read every book many times and I love them all. They are echanting and the symbolism is good, as well. All the books are short so they make easy reads.

I really loved the story of the movie, but I had never heard of the books.... I live in Europe and I have never seen the books in a shop or something. When I saw the movie, I wanted to read the books because books are most of the time better than the movies. So I found them in my library and I read only little pieces of the fist book. But I can already say that the books are deffinitly better! Has anyone read all the books of Narnia??? I'm still going to read them but I also liked the movie

I've read the Magician's Nephew and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. I've got The Horse and His Boy at home so yeah, eventually I plan on reading them all.

To be honest, I don't even know what the other books are called, except that I just read what Jefie wrote. I've heard of the Dawntreader one because when I was in jr. high the band played a song called Return of the Dawntreader and my teacher read the meaning behind the song. The other books sound good though, from reading what I am of them right now.

I tried reading it when i was in middle school and i just couldn't get into it. The Discovery of Harry Potter was all to recent... I've so far read only the Magicians Nephew although i've all seven sitting in my bookshelf waiting for me

They're really good books. Almost everything in them is a parallel to the Bible. It's interesting to see how they compare and contrast.
I definitely recommend both the movie and the books. You will not be disappointed.

I've read all the books many times, and before I could read myself my father read them for me. I actually cried when I heard Lewis was dead, eventhough it happened long before I was borned. (I was still a kid when this happened of course). But seriously, those are great books which I absolutely recommend! Even if you're not religious they are still great books:)
