So did anyone watch it, what did you think?
I thought it was pretty funny, and that the dialogues were somewhat better, but it was weird that the last episode before Christmas ended on such a dramatic note and last night they were all happy, as though the holidays magically fixed up everything... and the outdoors shots drove me nuts - green leaves in Connecticut in January!? Common!!
I guess we can expect a fight between Lorelai and Chris next week if he finds the draft of the letter she wrote for Luke...

I thought Lane's stomach looked so horrible and fake. I wish they made her look normal. Even Sookie's stomach was not that bad. Yeah, I think a fight will come between Lore and Chris. I hope April gets to stay with her dad. Oh, the green leaves well we've all been having a warmer winter lol. No, I understand what you mean. THe dialogue was better..."monkey, monkey underpants"...lol

lol, yeah, I forgot about Lane's stomach, that was hilarious! Even the way she walked, it's like they tried to hard, I've never seen a pregnant woman walk like that!

I hated last night's show. I hate Chris now, I think he's a doofus. The only parts I sort of liked were with Luke and April.
Yes, lane's stomach was insane!!
I also really do not like gigi.
It's sad to see such a wonderful show go down the crapper. I used to watch the show and be surprised and sad that it was already 8:50 and it was almost over. Now I look at the clock and it says 8:35 and I'm surprised there's so much left and I'm kind of sick of watching it.

I liked the show last night. It was probably just because I've been waiting and anticipating for a month plus for a new episode though. The dialouge was better and the plot is back to the kind of grounded things that could really happen to the characters of stars hollow, and I like that. I thought the scenes with Lane were over the top. It seemed like the entire episode was about Mrs. Kim Lane and Zach. Nothing new for Rory's character, besides hearing her awkwardly call Christopher dad on more than a few occasions. I got a kick out of that :-) I also found it weird that Rory and Lane didn't have a genuine conversation in the episode. I mean they are supposed to be "best friends" but they seem totally content with just doing their own individual thing with no great support from the other, rory w/logan and lane w/the pregnency I think everyone on the show actor-wise is just looking to get this year hashed out and move on to I'm afraid to say "greener pastures." Lauren Grahm and Alexis Bleidel can still act their hearts out the show is just running out of steam and I think it shows. They are running out of good story lines and they can't really seem to bring in a popular storyline to keep the fans enthused about the season. I'm afraid the lack of new and interesting material might be the downfall but I believe the writers are trying. The Luke and April storyline has finally grown into a good story line. So not all is negative about this season. Chris and Lor just make me want to change the channel. Chris is so not right for Lor. in my opinion, his demeanor towards everything just seems to clash with her sort of wacky free spirited persona. I really liked the scene in the science store where Luke connects with Rory and Lor. just stands back and realizes how much Luke cared for her daughter, in comparison to Chris. Personally I would like to just fast forward a few episodes through this break-up everyone can see in the future and have Lor. and Luke back together. Riding off in to the sunset happily ever after. Just like a fairy tale. :-)
