That's awesome!! I also love the sign that says "Unattended children will be given free expressos"!!!!
Hey Lu, I got a question for you: I once read a book that was set in Italy (can't remember the title) and the main character was trying to learn about Italian culture and people told him that you're only supposed to drink capuccinos in the morning - after that it's expressos. Is that true? Aaaaaahh, coffee takes on an entirely new meaning in Italy, sooooo good!

I'm not sure I understand your question, tell me if I've written a nonsense answer! We use to drink capuccino (or milk or tea) in the morning for breakfast and espresso in every other moment of the day; In Italy if you ask for a coffee, they give you an espresso! I always have a coffe, sorry, an espresso, after lunch...I like making coffee/espresso at home, we use "moka" (I can't translate it!) and it's great listening to the sound it makes when coffee gets ready...and it smells so good..wow, I want a coffee/espresso now!

lol, yes, that's the answer I was looking for! It's just that over here people will drink cappucinos and lattes after lunch or even in the evening. Oh, and moka is still moka in English

I've done a mistake in my last post, I should have written "some coffee" .In italian saying "a coffee" means "a cup of coffee"...

oh a coffee means a cup of coffee in English too, don't worry Some added coffee info, according to wikipedia: Many studies have been performed on the relationship between coffee consumption and many medical conditions, ranging from diabetes and cardiovascular disease to cancer and cirrhosis. Studies are contradictory as to whether coffee has any specific health benefits, and results are similarly conflicting with respect to negative effects of coffee consumption.[22] In addition, it is often unclear whether these risks or benefits are linked to caffeine or whether they are to be attributed to other chemical substances found in coffee (and whether decaffeinated coffee carries the same benefits or risks).
One fairly consistent finding has been the reduction of diabetes mellitus type 2 in coffee consumers, an association that cannot be explained by the caffeine content alone and indeed may be stronger in decaffeinated coffee.
Recently, coffee was found to reduce the chances of developing cirrhosis of the liver: the consumption of 1 cup a day was found to reduce the chances by 20%, and 4 cups a day reduced the chances by 80%.
And some more coffee art info and links from wikipedia: * Latte art involves designs in the foam of espresso-based drinks. links for latte art: www.latteart.nl/fotos_gallery.aspwww.latteart.nl/fotos_etching.aspwww.latteart.org/latteart.htmflickr.com/photos/tonx/sets/48921 * Arfé is the use of coffee as a coloring for painting or other visual effects. www.justcoffeeart.com/www.nosuchanimal.net/coffee.htm

You always write great links! Thanks That's an interesting page on wikipedia. My mother(/mom/mum ;D) is a bologist and works with controls on food, she thinks that coffee has health benefits, if you don't have any cardiovascular diseases. Instead she doesn't want us to drink decaffeinated coffee because she says that the chemical substances, used to made it decaffeinated, probably have negative effects on health. She always reads all ingredients of food!

Because it doesn't have caffeine. But probably it's healthier drink one less coffee than decaffeinated ones. If you don't have diseases which don't allow you to have caffeine, obiuvsly!
