I'll have 29 courses next year. It's pretty good, especially when I have to make 4th period easier because I will have my first matriculation exam. I will have: Mother tongue&liturate: 3 courses English: 3 Swedish: 4 French: 3 Biology Geography Religion: 2 History: 5 Math: 3 Art Gym Edit. I forgot one subject: Social studies: 2 If someone is wondering why I had so much courses. In Finland we have five periods and a course is only in one period. We have to take at least 75. This year I got 32 courses and next year I'll get 29. I hope my senior year will be easier.

...and apparently Finland's students are number one in the world, so this system is obviously working The U.S. is 27th or something terrible like that. Ugh.

I don't know about being number one students, but I think our system really works. It's very nice to plan your own schedule and our courses are comprehensive.

For fall 2009 I'm planning on taking: General Literature Communism in Eastern Europe Spanish Texts Spanish Literature As usual, that is a bigger workload than the ordinary adviced semester workload, but I've been doing that for the past year now and it's been working, so I just gotta try to keep up

I'm going to be a sophmore in high school next year. I'm taking a lot of advanced classes. English AP Prep AP Global History Algebra 2/Trigonometry (The normal junior math class, I already took geometry) Spanish 4 (I'm skipping Spanish 3) Chemistry (There's no advanced science classes until you're a senior...) The rest are all basic classes like gym and other stuff.

Ohh that's sort of what I can take my senior year. Only they have different names. And I'm taking global history now and US history my junior and senior year. And I can only take 1 journalism class. But I want to take it badly.

I'm a staff writer for the newspaper, so it's a class but not really a class, we just publish the paper and fool around the rest of the time. BUT we are ranked in the country's top 5 student newspapers so we don't fool around too much.

Wow, that's really cool. I'm in the school newspaper club but I'm not technically considered a staff writer yet. So there also aren't regular meetings to go to. Maybe next year there will be. But I do get to write stories either way at least. I have no idea where my school newspaper is rank-wise.

And then I will FINALLY be finished my B Law/B Communications!! After 5 years! So excited, I'm sick of studying.
