So you got all the academic genes:) It´s not on pay tv but we have a satellite dish or my family would only get two German channels.

I definitely agree that the propaganda is bad! Very bad! It's very sad thinking that someone join army because have no opportunity to find a job. A job is essential to live! well, that's the education I've been received from my family.

I'm against the war but above that I support our troops. The troops do a job that is to serve and protect the American people. If the troops are in Iraq are the because of propoganda or because of actual military concerns isn't important, they are just doing the job they signed up for. I think the majority of the American public supports the troops... even if the war is more and more unpopular. To be blunt I'm not sure what I think of the situation in Iraq other than we need to set regulations and timetables. So that eventually if the mission is accomplished we hand them back control of their country. I don't know the best way to accomplish these goals though. I think we should have never gone to war in the first place but that was my opinion almost 4 years ago. my opinion now is that it's ok that we went there except we should have done it under much more careful scrutiny and planning.

I think that Bush should have a deadline to pull the troops out. But that deadline also has to be practical. The troops are over there now to stabilise the country because of all the conflict within. I do think they need to stabilise, but there really is only so much that can be done at the same time. I think that lots of families will be angry if Bush is allowed to add the 3 months, or whatever it was, onto the year in Iraq many men and women already have served.

I went to amuseum that showed 100 photos against press censure. It was really interesting to see how nearly every nation was included but the US. I mean they even included Germany so I thought that was weird. I´d say censure happens in every country. The recent attacks in Iraq just show how far from stable the country is. It´s so depressing but I can´t see a change for the next couple of years.

Does anybody feel that we (meaning the US) might have made things worse than they were before? I'm not saying I do because I honestly don't know much about the politics behind the war, but sometimes I can't help but think it.
