Do your contry have any traditions for February 29th? In Norway that is the only time a girl can propose to a guy, and in theory he has to say yes, but if he doesn't he has to give her 12 pairs of gloves....weird, but that's the rule. I wonder who comes up with this stuff...

Who are you going to propose to Hannamarie? I have friends of a friend who are getting married on Feb 29th. But I don't think I'd like that because you would only get an anniversary every 4 years.

12 pairs? haha, thats a weird tradition.. we don't really have any traditions.. I think... something else: do your countries have weeks dedicated to books? because we have 2, one for kids literature and one for.. non kids literature.. A writer writes a book for this week and then you get that book when you buy a book.. and it always has a theme... this year it's 'ouderdom' which means: getting older or being old.. (I think..)

Who are you going to propose to Hannamarie? ` well, I'm kinda hoping that this will be the day when I run into Orlando Bloom, he's definetly on the who-to-propose-to list ;)Or maybe I'll "propose" to my best friend Nate, because I really need some new gloves...

I don't think we have a tradition like that here in my city, at least. I see there's a fair/exhibition of children lit sometimes but I'm not sure it's regularly done...maybe I'm not well-informed.

Haha, I think it would be cool to get married on February 29th. I know some kids that were born on Leap Day and they just celebrate their birthdays the day before/after so I'd do the same thing for my wedding anniversary.
Hannamarie, that's a very unique tradition. I don't think anything special happens here on Leap Day.

What are your emergency numbers? Like in the US we call 911. Do other places call the same number?

It's not the same number here. There are 113 to call police and 118 for medical emergency.
