When was Sheri and Chris married? They were engaged, I don't remember a wedding. Christopher said it was the first time he spoke to her since the divorce, and there was another mention of them married?

I guess they got married when she got pregnant? Did you guys enjoy last night's episode? I really like how the relationship between Chris and Lorelai is going. The ending was hilarious, when the three of them started choking in the car!

I do like how it is going. I like chris and Lorelai. Re-watching old episodes, you can see where Luke and Lorelai were different. Different isn't always a bad thing, but in this case I think her and Chris are better for each other. I was a Lukle fan also, so I guess at this point i'm ok with either one. I just think that Chris is the best match, for Lorelai and Rory. Chris has changed, and he lets Lorelai into his life. Luke wanted Lorelai out because he felt April would like Lorelai more, he only let her in briefly because he needed her for the party. After that, he didn't fight Anna on it. Luke has rights as a father, he didn't try to help him and Lorelai.
I guess that's what made me fustrated with Luke. Either way is good for me, if Lorelai and Rory are happy.

I love this new path. At the end, where Lorelai, Chris, and Rory are all sitting in the car, it just seemed right. The relationship with Luke never looked that fun.

That's was I think. Watching the old shows, it was always about Chris. Whenever Lorelai needed something she called him, and he called her. Chris would argue with Lorelai, but then he'd see her point.
I like Luke but since he didn't want Lorelai to get to know April, I think differently about him. I don't think he intended on hurting Lorelai but he did. I just think Chris is a better match. Sorry to the Luke and Lorelai fans.

Am I the only Luke fan? I admit that parts of their relationship (that we saw) were difficult, but they have the capacity to be amazing. (evidence in earlier seasons)
I just don't like the way she is when she's with Chris. She doesn't seem normal to me, and they seem weird together.
However, I'm really old school too....I liked Jess the best for Rory. (Though I guess if you're totally old school you like Dean). One thing that does frustrate me is how with Luke and Jess they both had amazing build ups and then just crash landed - only showing the trying parts of the relationship and not the much of the great.

I really didn't like Jess for Rory. Yes, he challenged her but I felt he was mean to her. He would not call her, leaving her just waiting for him. He expected her to wait to him. He left without tell her, he was mean to her when he came back. Then told her he loved her and left again. Remember when she wouldn't have sex with him?
I prefer Logan, I think he's the best match for Rory.

I think Jess and Rory didn't meet at the right time. If they were to meet now I think things would be very different and it might work out. Back when they met, Jess was so screwed up and immature, even though you could see they were a good match and he was a great guy, there was no way that relationship could have worked. He had some serious growing up to do (which I think he has done now) and he had to sort out his life before adding a girlfriend into the equation.

I agree too. And he WAS very mean to her when they were dating, it was so hard to watch after seeing how great he was to her when she was still with Dean, and how much chemistry they had. I think they would be great together now.
I do like Logan, they certainly have had the best times together too. And he is so much better than Dean. Dean was way too boring. Still - something seems weird to me about Logan being so rich and from the sort of lifestyle that I would hate to see Rory enjoy and want. It will be interesting to see what happens.

In the episode "The Prodigal Daughter Returns" Rory and Lorelai are talking about why Chris might have called, and they said "maybe he wants to get back together with his wife". So basically it isn't the new writers, it was in the 6th season.
