I have many a fave quote as well, by my all time fave would have to be:
"It's absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious." -Oscar Wilde
Isnt is sort of true? heh.. well to an extent anyway.

Two quotes from F451:
"Drink deep or taste not the Pierian spring; There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again" (Alexander Pope)
"The Devil can cite scripture for his purpose"

Oscar Wilde really writes books full of quotes.
'One could never pay too high a price for any sensation.' When I wasn't feeling very well a couple of months ago, I thought about life and how 'boring' it was. How straight-lined and flat our emotions were. That's why I like this one so much.
'When we blame ourselves we feel that no one else has the right to blame us. It is the confession, not the priest, that gives us absolution.'

Some recent quotes I've found and enjoyed:
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax — Of cabbages-and kings — And why the sea is boiling hot — And whether pigs have wings."
lewis carrol
"What we become depends on what we read after all of the professors have finished with us. The greatest university of all is a collection of books." - Thomas Carlyle

"Look at the stars. Same stars as last week. Last year. When we were kids. When we weren't even born. In a hundred years, no one will ever know who we were... They'll know those same stars." --Ryan Donowho in Imaginary Heroes

I just finished Frangipani by Celestine Vaite, and here's my favourite quote from it: "First prize is finding someone to be passionately in love with you for a lifetime."

"It is fun to be in the same decade with you" - Hah, that's a funny one! My favourites: "Book-love, I say again, lasts throughout life, it never flags or fails, but, like Beauty itself, is a joy forever." The Anatomy of Bibliomana Vol.II - Holbrook Jackson "The written word remains. The spoken word takes wing and cannot be recalled."
