The guy who plays that lecturer Paris dates, Ashton. I watched Cabaret for the first time yesterday and it hit me! It was so weird! There's Ashton in the seedy, garish. wild underword that was Berlin.
He also plays the boss of Austin Powers!
Just thought I'd share, lol, he's probably a famous actor and everyone already knows this. But hey it was news to me!

Don´t worry, I didn´t know either :-) I´ve never watched cabaret. Don´t think they´re showing it over here.

That reminds me of last Christmas: I got the Dirty Dancing DVD set (shhhh! ) I hadn't seen the first movie in years so you should have heard me yell "Oh my god, it's Emily!!!" when I saw who was playing the mom!

I also saw Sookie play an ambulance woman, but I don't remember which movie that was. Oh, and who could forget Luke in Seinfeld's sponge episode!

The Seinfeld bit was hilarious: Elaine's favorite method of contraception, the sponge, was going off the market so she had stacked a huge pile of them and when she met Luke (well, he had a different name but I can't remember) she had to decide whether he was sponge worthy or not!!
And you really can't miss Emily in Dirty Dancing, she's there throughout the entire movie.

that explains where the phrase sponge worthy comes from (although I'm a little confused about using a sponge as contraception... lol)

I know, I've no idea how that works I think you're supposed to put some gel on it and, well, shove it in or something. Maybe Lane should have tried it ;D

I saw Michel in another movie the other day, and I was like "what, no accent?!" It was weird, he was so casually dressed, and totally different person. Can't remember which film it was though...
