I posted a few of these in other threads, but decided maybe we should have a special thread for posting about new books (that haven't been released yet) by our favorite authors.
Today I've been thinking about several books I'm looking forward to:
Armageddon in Retrospect by Kurt Vonnegut (April 1) Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri (April 1) Indefinite Leave to Remain by David Sedaris (June 3)
Anyone else know of any upcoming books by RBC popular authors?

I read that the fourth book in the Twilight series called Breaking Dawn is due to come out in 2008, according to wikipedia it will be released n August.
Also, not that I've read any Rushdie myself, but his new book The Enchantress of Florence is due out June 3rd.

Augusten Burroughs has a new memoir out on April 29. It's called "The Wolf at the Table" and it's about his father.

Jeffrey Eugendies has a new one coming out next month! Here are the details from Harper Collins.
My Mistress's Sparrow is Dead: Great Love Stories from Chekhov to Munro
by Jeffrey Eugenides
Book Description
No other aspect of the human experience regularly inspires such an outpouring of poetry, prose and philosophy as love. From passionate declarations to clinical analysis, writers of every age have been fascinated, tormented and inspired by love.
This beautifully produced collection of short stories will combine the best of contemporary and classic fiction on the theme of love, from Catullus to Alice Munro. Edited and introduced by the Pulitzer prize–winning author of 'Middlesex', this wonderfully heterodox look at love will include, amongst others, 'A Rose for Emily' by William Faulkner, 'The Lady with the Lapdog' by Anton Chekhov and 'The Dead' by James Joyce, as well as stories by Lorrie Moore, Milan Kundera and Guy de Maupassant, and historical selections ranging from the letters of Heloise and Abelard to examples of courtly love.
'The Greatest Love Stories of All Time' will be the perfect gift for Valentine's Day 2008 – elegant, covetable and timeless
ISBN: 9780007257485; ISBN-10: 0007257481; Publication Date: 01/02/2008; Format: Non Standard Hardback; Trimsize: 135 x 203; $29.99

I'm looking forward to a few books, but none are by RBC populars lol That's ok, post them anyway! I'm getting excited for The Seduction of the Crimson Rose by Lauren Willig that comes out next month. It's an ongoing series, and while the books are practically romance novels, I love them anyways. I like them for an easy read.
Also, Angie Sage's fourth Septimus Heap book called Queste is coming out in April (I think). Again, a book to read for it's simplicity, but I love them too

Is it sad that there are all of these great authors coming out with new stuff and we are most excited about the new Twilight book?
