I've read 22. I can't say that I'm happy with the result, but least I can't compare because this was the first year I counted. I was busy with school. (This is so typical for me. I always try to find explanation even I was just lazy. )

At least we all had bad years together. Reading this thread makes me feel better about not reading as much as I wanted. Maybe next year we should have a thread where we push each other to our goals so that next December we are all happy with our numbers.

I like this thread I read a few books less than last year (...I do not mention that 5-6 of them were very very short children books ) and here I feel like I've done great anyway. yay!

I didn't have any set goals this year, just to read as much as possible. I just finished my 60th book. I know I could have done better. There were 2 months this year that I didn't read at all. But, since I didn't stress myself out with goals, I'm not disappointed with that number. I'll probably finish at least 2-3 more books by the end of this year as well.

I've only read 27, I would have read more if uni wasn't so hard this year I'm pretty happy with 27 though I think it was a good effort considering everything else I've had to do. I might be able to finish one or two more by new years day.

I had a set goal of 50 this year, but something happened and I went crazy and read 106 books including re-reads. I think its 70 something without re-reads. But, this year was the year that I discovered my love for books.

I read 31. My goal was 50 but over the last few months i have not been able to read as much as i would like to due to so much school work. Hopefully I will be able to read more next year as my TBR list keeps growing.

Cool! You're already in 2009 Dom! It's 3pm here and I don't think I will be able to finish another book in 9 hours (I have to study ). My total for 2008 is 55, less than last year but not bad.
