The author of Wild Swans is Jung Chang, but she's a Chinese British writer, not an American one... Good book recommendation, though!

Sounds great, I´ve put it on my normal tbr list Went to the library yesterday and got as many as I could carry. I´ll let you guys know which ones I´d recommend.

Has anybody read Chinese Cinderella? That was my favourite book as a child. I'm not sure if the lady who wrote it was American, but she was Chinese at least. She also has another book which is an expansion of Chinese Cinderella but I haven't read it yet.

The author of Chinese Cinderella is Adeline Yen Mah and she is Chinese American, so that would work!
