My boyfriend really likes Vonnegut so he lent me Cat's Cradle and Slaughterhouse 5. I'm not sure when I am going to get to them.

I am going to read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte after I have finished The Wizard od Oz.

I'm trying to get through The Bell Jar. Everyone here spent so long talking about it, I figured I should read it too.

Uuuh! You really should. I love the Bell Jar. But don't try to read everything in one evening. I did that once and became kind of depressed afterwards . It's really worth to read.

During the break I'm going to try and tackle Moby Di ck, Count of Monte Cristo, and David Copperfield.. I'm definitely not going to finish all of them. But I'll finished one of them at least. One can wish.

Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favourites. if you don't get to finish it during your break, definitely read it sometime anyway

I have never read a whole book by Dickens.I'm going to do so as soon as possible! I've recently bought "the posthumous papers of the pickwick club" (sorry..I've already told about this!) and I'd like reading "David Copperfield".

Middle march is good...but I loved Adam Bede! Grapes of Wrath is also great. I also want to read Hemingways short stories, I haven't read that much. Did the author who wrote Middlemarch also write Silas Marner? I'm reading Silas for school now and, well, it's a little slow (I'm about 60 pages in) I'm hoping it picks up! I would have to say, I really want to read Pride and Prejudice...and maybe also Wuthering Heights.

Those are two great novels, you really should give them a try Yes, George Eliot wrote both Silas Marner and Middlemarch. I'd like to read Middlemarch at some point, but the first book (and only one so far) I've read by Eliot was The Mill on the Floss, and it's one of those rare novels that I've read and can't remember anything about the plot or the characters. I have to admit that I read it in uni and I was probably reading five other books at the same time but still, it can't have been that good if I can't remember anything... I've heard that Middlemarch is much better, though.

I loved Adam Bede, it was a great book. One of my favorites, Middlemarch was not that good. Pride and Prejudice, and Wurthering Heights are must reads!

I love Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights! I think they'r my favorite books of all time. Wuthering Heights is sooo different from any other book i've ever read. I mean ppl. try to mimic her style of gothic writing but it never works, sometimes i wish she were alive long enough to write more books than just one
