Seeing Jefie post about reading The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing made me really want to re-read it. I read it so long ago, and I remember really liking it. It's also becoming a movie, so that's more motivation to re-read it soon.

I had no idea! hmmmm, it'll be interesting to see how it translates to the big screen... I know! It seems like a strange book to make into a movie. I don't remember it very well, but I do remember that it doesn't really seem suited perfectly for the big screen. That's part of why I must re-read it before I see the movie!

I'd like to reread The Time Traveler's Wife, The Lovely Bones, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Fountainhead, and The World According to Garp at some point in time. It might be awhile before that happens though. There are lots of books I read when I was younger that I think would be fun to reread also like James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, The Giver, and Charlotte's Web.

I'm "re-reading" all of Augusten Burroughs's books by listening to them on audio book while at work. I started with his most recent and am working backwords. I finished Possible Side Effects, and am now listening to Magical Thinking. Since it's first person stories, it's really easy to listen to and doesn't get confusing. Augusten reads the books himself, and he does a great job. It's hilarious, I am frequently laughing to myself at work while listening.
