Just wondering, do you guys know about bookcrossing (http://www.bookcrossing.com/)? Have some of you done it before? Not a lot of people participate in my area and I have a hard time letting go of books I've enjoyed so I've never done it. Still an interesting concept, though...

Wow, I don´t even know if people do this in Germany. Have to look it up. I´ve heard about it but I can´t give away my books, they´re my babies! Plus I guess they should be in the national language and I read mostly English books. But you´re right, the concept sounds fun. It´s just not my thing.

I've been thinking about it. Someone forgot a book at my work, and after three months no one has come to claim it. I think I'll set that one free.

Someone forgot a book? I checked about book crossing in Germany. There are OBCZ (official book croosing zones) and international meetings and everything. Could be a fun way to set my doubles free.

I know. It was just sitting on the counter. But, it is a self-help book, so I can understand.

I think it's a genre. They have their own section at book stores. It was all about being okay with being single. Perhaps she found a boyfriend.

I hope so because her book probably won´t forgive her ;-) I don't know about the book, but I felt a little sad for it. That's why I took it home. I just don't know what to do with it.

Whatever you do, make sure your boyfriend doesn't see it, he might start asking questions

I've made sure no one will see it. Self-help books are a genre I'm embarrassed to be around.

I didn't think it would be going on in Australia but I've found some books "in the wild" in my home town. They all look like trashy fiction though. If they leave it at places like cafes and post offices etc don't they go into lost property? Would you just say hey I left my book here accidently a few days ago?
