I was in Iran for a very little while, now I'm in Cuba. Since I didn't go through with the first book I had set in Cuba, this is my first trip there! And it's during the 1970s. Great! I like having a first trip in a setting I've never been before, I hope you enjoy your time there, Kristie !

Well, it's like Reading Lolita in Tehran (which is in Iran). Both are Islamic republics, so it's set around the women struggling with fitting into the men's world, etc. As far as I can tell, it's no different from Iran, but I've only just begun my trip so it may get different as I go on. (And it is better than Reading Lolita...)

In China with Peony in Love. Not sure yet if I'll enjoy it as much as my first trip with Snow Flower, but probably.

Was this an actual trip to Milan or another book? Lol, I know it seems a weird question to ask but I wanted to make sure...
