I read Lullaby by Chuck Palahnuik which was great. I can only imagine that Fight Club is as good, if not better than that. I think I might have ruined it for myself though because I saw the movie. Never mind. Anyway, I went crazy at the bookstore. Came out with five books: The Gunseller by Hugh Laurie (yes, the actor in House M.D) Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay (because I love the t.v show) The Feminine Mystigue by Betty Friedan Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fford The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing by Melissa Bank. Now I have no money .

The first day I spent at seaside I saw a market (don't know if it's the correct words..) with some 2nd hand books and old editions, they had great prices but unfortunately there weren't many good books. I bought: The Waves by Virginia Woolf The Shadow Line by Joseph Conrad La Bella Estate by Cesare Pavese

Today I bought a book called Wrong About Japan by Peter Carey. I hadn't heard of it before or read any of Carey's other books but today at the second-hand book store it caught my eye. It's a memoir about Carey's travels through Japan with his son.

I'm almost half way through and i'm finding it very enjoyable. I want to read more books that won the Michael Printz award. Everyone I've read so far i've really enjoyed.
