Ditto. The way i see, it's still very much an expansion of the mind, a learning process, just one without exams or grading or any of the stress!! lol and lots of lying around in bed!

I have requested The Best of Henry Kuttner from the library. I watched The Last Mimzy which is based on a short story of his called Mimsy Were the Borogroves. If I really like the story I'm intending to read, I might end up reading the whole book.

I've read Anna Karenina and I loved it, I think it's very good and I absolutely recommend it. It was my first Tolstoj and then I've read also War and Peace, but Anna Karenina is still my favorite Tolstoj.

I really liked Anna Karenina. It took me a looooong time to read it, but it was def. worth it. I think Ben read 8 books in the time that I read Anna Karenina.

Anna Karenina seems very intimidating to me.. the names alone seem confusing.

It's worth it in the end, trust me. Not only is Anna Karenina my favourite Tolstoy, it's one of my favourites of all time!

I just remember I heard a new book in my new favourite series is coming out January 1st: The Seduction of the Crimson Rose by Lauren Willig. I can't wait for it to come out! I've never heard of that serie, what is it about? I guess it's called the Pink Carnation series, and it's a historic romance mystery type series. Have you ever heard of the Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy? The Scarlet Pimpernel is a spy, and Lauren Willig has created a series about similar spies. The first book, The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, is about a spy, the Pink Carnation, who was taught by the Scarlet Pimpernel. The other books have similar spies in a group of friends. There's definitely romance. Some chapters are set in present day because a girl, a grad student, is writing her dissertation on if these spies from around the Regency era are real or only myths.
I find them really interesting, but light at the same time. I probably didn't do the books justice with my description.
O, and Tiare in Bloom is on my TBR list...
