I really enjoy reading plays, so I voted for theatre. Next it would be short stories, and then poetry. I'm not a big poetry fan, the only poems I enjoy reading are the really old ones, like Chaucer's Caterbury Tales and Shakespeare's Sonnets.

Uh, I can´t decide. I enjoy all of them. I love poetry, especially T.S. Eliot. And plays are great and short stories also. I´ll just vote for poetry for the sake of balance

I ended up voting poetry, though it was a tough decision. I read a few plays and short stories, but not as much as I do poetry.

I'm not really a fan of any of these. I prefer the novels, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with short stories.

I voted for short stories. I can't get too much joy out of poetry (school probably ruined it for me); same for most plays, even though there are some really good plays that I enjoyed reading.

Another fan of short stories here! I always have a hard time reading poetry, I need to be in the appropriate mood to be able to fully appreciate poems. Though I like to read some good play every now and then, I am mostly in favor of prose, whether it be novels or just short stories.

I voted for theatre (although here in Michigan it would be spelled 'theat er' ). I don't read plays very often, but I've liked all the ones that I have read. I also like short stories, but I am not poetry fan at all. I've never been able to understand it properly.

I voted poetry. As everyone else I had a hard time deciding but I ended up thinking about Dorothy Parker's poems and so the decision was made:D I have a book where I keep all my favorite poems, from all kinds of authors, from Tupac Shakur to Shakespeare to myself. Every now and then it's good to read a poem or three I think.

I have the same problem as dorothyparker, I really enjoy all of them. But I voted for short stories because I probably read more of them than the others.

Tough decision. I voted for theatre because you guys neglect it and I don't want the playwrights out there to feel offended

See, I can't vote for plays because I've only ever read boring ones in school, or Shakespeare. Aside from Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet, the plays in high school were A Doll's House and The Crucible, both of which weren't really interesting for me. I do want to read Pygmalion though, because I love the movie and would like to see it in it's true form.

Poetry for me. I guess it's the only literary form I've ever felt comfortable writing in so I like seeing how poets do cool things with language...

I'm not a huge fan of poetry, I like reading both theatre and short story. I finally voted for short stories, just because I've read them more than theatre.
