I just finished Twilight last night. I started reading it during final exams last week. Oh boy, I hope I did alright. This book was so addicting! I could not put it down. It took a LOT of self-discipline to study rather than read it. I'm itching to read New Moon now. I'm also excited for the movie.

The Host sounds very interesting. I'm never going to be able to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the Twilight series of course!

Yeh, i'm looking forward to it. I think though that i made an info error; at present Meyer claims it will be a stand-alone novel, not part of a series. I'm still wondering about her plans to release Midnight Sun (i think that's the name) - the novel that is basically the events of Twilight, but told from Edward's POV. I wonder, is that necessary really? I mean yes, it could be interesting, but in small doses - i think an entire novel would just be rehashing old news.

You all made this book (Twilight) sound so good that I went out and bought it yesterday..... now I am done with it! It went by entirely too fast. I have to wait until Sunday (my birthday) to get the other two, so I think I may read it again! I cannot get my head away from it. I am a little nervous about New Moon though. I like Bella and Edward together (yes, I know, but spoilers do not bother me in the least) and don't know that I will like reading about them apart. I am not too fond of Jacob yet. He seems.... well, brash. Maybe that will change.

Yay! Another Twilight fan! I know how you feel! I am saving New Moon and Eclipse for my vacation in June- it's hard though! I really like Bella and Edward together too! I'm not really a Bella and Jacob fan either.

I'm quickly becoming obsessed with this series-I love talking about it! I got my best friend hooked on it too. We are planning on going to see the midnight showing of the movie, provided the theater up at college has one the day it comes out. December is such a long way away...

I agree that the books can be somewhat addicting but I just watched the trailer that neh posted and I am kind of afraid to watch the movie. Is it just me or does Kristen Stewart seem like she's on something while she is trying to "act"?

I'm excited to see it, but I am a little bit apprehensive to see if they can pull this movie off the way it should be done. I think that Robert Pattinson looks great as Edward, and Kristen Stewart looks like Bella would look (in my mind anyway), but it should be interesting to see if they can really bring the characters to life, the way Stephenie Meyer meant them to be.
