I read it eventually. I really did like it, especially the illustrated version I had. Lu, did you ever get it online?

I haven't got it online because I've decided not to buy book for the next 2 months (3 months, if I managed to); I borrowed a copy from library on Friday, it's not illustrated but it looks really good. I've only read the introduction while I was queueing at library...and while I was walking to the bus stop...so a friend of school complained because she had to shut at me three times before I saw her.. and she said that I shouldn't walk and read at same time I'm really looking forward reading them, but I want to finish The Thirteenth Tale first. I've also borrowed Sylvia Plath's Letters Home.

I've finished reading a collection of Jane Austen's letters and I loved it, her style is great, as much as it is in her books. It's very interesting to know some little aspects of her everyday life. I also enjoyed what she said about their characters and how she referred to her works, her giving to her nephews suggestions and opinions on their writings. I've found that collection of letters in library, it is in italian and it doesn't have the original english title written on any of the first pages (as usually is)...I think it's not a transalation but a collection of some letters chosen by the italian editor. It contains mostly Jane's correspondency with her sister Cassandra but also some letters to her nephews, three sent to her editor and some to her brothers. I recommend it to any Austenites! That's a good recommendation! At the end of that book there's also a review to Emma written by Walter Scott, which is pretty interesting.

I've recently read Letters Home by Sylvia Plath, I liked it. I also read The Unabridged Journals Of Sylvia Plath a couple of months ago and I think that I wouldn't enjoy her letters as much as I did if I hadn't read her journals before, that makes her letters more interesting...but it's just a personal impression.
