I haven't bought a single book this month because I've been broke. But still quite a feat of self control

Being broke sucks lindsey and Dominique! Especially when you don't have money to buy books! I'm still thinking about ordering the books I mentioned in my last post, but I'm in doubt because the money is also a bit lacking.... I'm really upset.

I still like going to the bookstore and browse though. It makes me sad though that I can't give any of the books a good home.

That is truely sad All those great books that are shouting "pick me pick me, take me home with you". It's so sad when you can't adopt them ;D. But I must congratulate you with you self-control. And maybe if you are at the bookstore, you can make yourself a little list of books you are gonna buy when you've got the money (I do this sometimes : .

I think I won't have any time do go in a bookstore until April, so: March- La Ragazza Del Secolo Scorso by Rossana Rossanda (italian author)
- The Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
- The Christmas Books by Charles Dickens
- The Great Gatsby by Francis S. Fitzgerald
- A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway
I've decided not to buy books an April but the bookstore where I usually do my book purchases has given me some money of free shopping!

Then it's not like you're actually buying books I loved, loved, loved "A Moveable Feast", it's one of the main reasons why I picked a hotel in Montparnasse during my stay in Paris, so I can be close to Hemingway's favorite hangouts!

That's a sort of gift for having bought many books during the last year. ;D Wow, so you're going to see Hemingway's favourite hangouts..how lucky! I'm glad to hear you loved A Moveable Feast, it seems a very very good book and I can't wait to read it! It's actually on the very top of my TBR pile.
