Wow, Everyone did so good this month! Even me for once! I only got three new books: The Sunny Side by A. A. Milne Clementine by Sara Pennypacker The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson And of these three, I've already read two of them (Clementine and Thunderbolt Kid) so I've only added 1 new book that I need to read. However, I have a feeling September is going to be back to a big list. I'm not sure I can keep this up two months in a row, but we'll see.

I've thought of a good limit for me of buying books off Amazon: I can only buy a book for every one of my own that I read. This will save me from accumulating more and more and more books and then reading others from the library. Not to mention it'll save me money I had a similar goal for August, and I'm very happy that I met it. But mine was a bit different - I just wanted to buy fewer books than I read that month. It didn't matter if the books I read were library books or not. I think this worked well, because I didn't want to discourage myself from reading library books, because I'm trying to check more things out rather than buying them first.

I haven't bought anything in like a month.... I'm trying to save up money in order to buy a new cellphone (mine's a piece of....). I mean my parents give me a sort of allowance to buy CDs, books, makeup, etc., but I mostly spend it all on books... So I'm trying not to buy any other books until I finish at least two (and I have a ridiculous amount of tests nowadays so it'll be long before I'm able to read two entire books...)
