It doesn't help to have an hour lunch, and a bookstore at the corner of your work. You're lucky...but I'm sure it doesn't help, it's a great temptation.

so far this month I have only bought Answered Prayers by Truman Capote. I'm trying not to buy too many so I can make a dent in pile of books I've bought but haven't read

This month is a very long list. I didn't even include the books I got at the library book sales, because it would just be too crazy. This is so long because I got most of them for great deals, and I had a $100 AMEX gift card my work gave me. So I rewarded myself with some books I wanted. Some of them also were bought for book signings:
The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn and Hal Iggulden Ciao America! An Italian Discovers the U.S. by Beppe Severgnini Rant by Chuck Palahniuk Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk Stranger than Fiction by Chuck Palahniuk Choke by Chuck Palahniuk Brundibar by Maurice Sendak and Tony Kushner Mountain Man Dance Moves: The McSweeney's Book of Lists by the editors of McSweeney's Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides The House at Pooh Corner by AA Milne What Can You Do With a Shoe? by Beatrice Schenk de Regniers and Maurice Sendak Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems Donald and the ... by Peter F. Neumeyer and Edward Gorey Donald Has a Difficulty by Peter F. Neumeyer and Edward Gorey Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel Garcia Marquez The Marquise of O- by Heinrich Von Kleist Silas Marner and Two Short Stories by George Eliot Ethan Frome and Selected Stories by Edith Wharton Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman The Secrets of a Fire King by Kim Edwards The Magical Worlds of Harry Potter by David Colbert

I only bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this month... What with my dissertation being due soon and preparing for my finals, I haven't had time to read much else... I'm hoping to visit my local bookstore soon though... I am so jealous of your pile of books Dominique!
