I am lucky because university only starts in the fall (mi-September): therefore, I still have two weeks of holiday I'm studying German I started that this week at college. My other course doesn't start for another 3 weeks. Ill also be studying Arts & Social Science, which sounds really broad. The first term is an overview and the second term you pick two subjects from; English literature, Psychology, sociology, philosophy, history, politics and film studies to study in more detail I definitely want to do english, not sure of the other yet. Hopefully if I do well this year I can go to university next year Yourself?

I began learning German too this summer . But I am studying it by myself. I am more a self-educated. If I were you, I would also pick up English literature. Then, the choise would be hard because all those subjects sound great. I loved my Psychology course and my Philosophy one. I am also interrested in history and politics. And film studies... Maybe this last one would be the most tempting for me as it is a really special subject to study. A subject I would like to study at university... "Unfortunately", I am studying law... which is actually not the kind of studies where you would study films etc. This year, I begin my Master of Law. Only law courses: civil law, contractual law, criminal law... I love my studies but sometimes, I miss courses such as literature, philosophy... During my Bachelor of Law, I always took my option courses in those areas. Now, it is over and it is a bit sacry for me. Fortunately, I find always time to read, to watch movies and to learn things by myself (such as languages, culture...). I hope you would be able to go to university next year because for me, it was (and it is still) a great experience .

But its so hard and I have to know quite a lot of history and literature for the exam I have to do. Yeah i definitely want to do English Lit, because discussing books is one of my favourite things to do. Then I would be inclined to also take Film Studies because it sounds the most fun, but my mum said if I am taking english as my first I should take one of the social science ones as my 2nd. Politics is the one I favour least I think as it would be very challenging to learn all that information. I liked History in school but again its a lot of information to learn. I dont really know much about the other three as I have never studied them before. Wow Law sounds amazing, and hard, do you wish to be a lawyer? I still dont know what I would like to study at university, Maybe English or Modern Languages. I would like to be an undercover journalist but I know how competitive it is. I hope so I really want to go to St Andrews University.

Ok . Philosophy, psychology and sociology... they are all great. I had those courses when I was freshman. But I clearly preferred Psychology (I had one of my best exam grade at university for this course) and Philosophy. Sociology was an easy course in my university but it wasn't one of my favourite subjects ;-). Hor History, I agree: it is great in High School but in university, the courses are really tough. I loved History in High School but I didn't really enjoy History of Law at university. I hope those "informations" will help you a bit . Law is amazing... Not everyday of course but most of the time. Actually, when you study something at university, the courses are so extensive that you have always, at one time or the other, the impression that you don't like what you study anymore^^. But it doesn't last: it is only the case from time to time. And it is hard. That is sure. My notes and syllabi are very huge. But it will be worthy at the end because it is a good diploma. Actually, when I was at High School, I wanted to be a French Teacher (French is my mother language) but I had a very difficult french teacher in senior year and I was discouraged... So, I didn't know what to do... My parents said that you should study Law, that it was for me... I didn't believe them but I began those studies because I did think of something else (I lack self-confidence^^). I had thought that I wouldn't like Law, that I wouldn't fail and that I would maybe study language afterwards. But I love my first Law course. Therefore I continued those studies and I learn languages by myself for pleasure (and it is also useful as I live in a bilingual country^^). I would like to be a lawyer (I mean, someone who plead in court). It will be in Family Law or in Criminal Law, I don't know yet but it is the kind of options courses that I will choose this year. But before being a lawyer, I must get my Master of Law and then, I must follow a training... So, it is very long... Modern languages or English, both sound great . St-Andrews University, the university of Kate and William ;-)

Thanks for your help I hope to be an undercover journalist. Yes its very hard to get in though, my dad doesnt think I can get in but you get 5 choices so I think I may as well try. I need AAA in my course for st andrews and a B in german. Last week we went to visit Dundee university, it was nice but its quite a small place. I just really cant wait to get out my city i have lived here all my life anyway last month was really bad for me. September The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell- Chris Colfer Seriously Im kidding- ellen degeneres
