Seems to me there used to be a thread about books we check out from the library, but I can't find it so I created a new one.
Anyways, since I'm stuck at home for the next few months, I thought I'd go to the library more often. Not only does it feel like a free book shopping spree everytime, but getting there is also a nice way to get some exercice (it's about 3 km away) since I can't run or go to the gym anymore.
It's going to sound really silly, but I've decided to work my way through the shelves in alphabetical order, picking up random books that seem interesting. So far I've checked out The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood, Mister B. Gone by Clive Barker, and The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes.
It'll be interesting to see what letter I can reach before I go back to work, and what fun discoveries I'll make along the way!

I'd wanted to do that when my parents got me a library card when I was 6, but then I couldn't stick to my plan. The last book I got from library is A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway.

Made another trip to the library yesterday and I got "Dark Times" (a collection of short stories written by different authors), and Plum Lovin' and Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich. Next time I'll hit the "F" section
