5 weeks sounds good to me! I'll probably be able to get a copy from the library in the first week of september.. otherwise I might try the ebook way.

Sounds like the 5-week plan is popular. So I guess we could figure on that. When should we have our first section done? Next Saturday (August 31st)? Or the week after that so people have some more time to find the book. I'm worried we might lose the momentum if we wait another week...
***I added a little note to the RBC Facebook page, just because I know I check that more than here.

This is a re-read for me, too. But I read it many years ago in high school. 5 week schedule seems good. I'd like to start in September. I'm not quite ready to start.

I loved A Farewell to Arms so it'd be really nice to reread it! I'm sorry I haven't been around to vote I've been sick and now I'm really behind with uni work. I probably won't be able to start reading before September 2 or 3, but I'll catch up with you guys!

Sept 7 works better for me too, I have a lot of uni deadlines at the moment and no time to go to the library! (And I guess no time to read either... but that has never stopped me )

Okay, sounds like we can come up with a new discussion thread and have our first section due Sept. 7th! I've already read about half of the first section

Yay I'm so happy the boards are active again. Hi everyone! I'm in. Well I'll definitely try to join in anyway. I start my first year of uni in a few weeks so will be more busy then, but for now I have lots of free time for reading.

The timeframe is great, I had a paper due yesterday and had to disappear for a while
