He wrote Never Let Me Go, correct? Yes. And The Remains of the Day, which is one of my favourite books I'll have to put that one on my TBR list!

I have just finished Moby Dick by Herman Melville (one of the abridged version I have). I really enjoyed it since it was very well-translated and well-written. I am definitively curious of reading other version (among which the original one) and some articles about the meaning of this story because there is an allegory which is not easy to understand since there are diverging point of view about it in literary studies. Plus, I was surprised to learn that Melvillle wasn't really seen as a great writer during his life, lived miserly and that only 3 thousands copies of Moby Dick were sold at the time! It is kind of something often happening to all the novels we know today as classics: they weren't noticed at the time they were written. I always surprise me.

Diaboliad, Fatal Eggs and Heart of a Dog all by Mikhail Bulgakov. They were actually all separate books and very short. I just lovelovelove Master and Margarita, so I decided to give his other work also a try. I now understand why his other work is so unknown. They weren't as good as Master and Margarita. They were a bit plain. I liked Heart of a Dog best. I understand why it was banned at first in the Soviet Union, but it just didn't have the same spark to it as Master and Margarita. PS! I feel I need to apologize for my rusty English. I haven't written in it for quite some time.

The last book I finished was The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. I finished it probably in June. As usual with Neil Gaiman, I LOVED it!

Yesterday, I finished A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens[/i]. I really liked this one. And I also finished Troubles by Jennifer Provins, a book written by a friend of mine but I was mostly disappointed by it even if it was fascinating (since the page 60, I could put the book down).

I just finished La liseuse by Paul Fournel. I really loved it. I was so much into the story than I couldn't put the book down before having read the last page

It's a great series! I read the first 4 as well. I wanted to wait for the Italian edition of the 5th book (since I started reading the series in Italian) but now I'm tired of waiting and I'll probably read it in English.

I just finished Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock (on audio). Really good but lacked closure and I'm a little anxious about that.
